I have set up an RSA key on my box for [email protected] (the basic Kubuntu machine name) and I copied/added the rsa_id_nopass.pub file to the end of the destination server's ~/.ssh/authorized_keys2 file, but it still isn't working; I am asked for a password (not passphrase) every time.
I'm attempting to setup a RSA authentication manager with a Microsoft Active Directory as the identity source. When I try to login from the Windows login client the login attempt failed and I recieve the message Unable to resolve principal by login ID and/or alias in the authentication monitor.
If nslookup doesn't resolve the name, check with your DNS administrator to make sure the name and IP are entered correctly into DNS. Make sure you remove or comment out the host from the Hosts file before testing or you'll just get the local copy.
